createURLStreamHandler

URLStreamHandler createURLStreamHandler(String protocol)

Creates a new URLStreamHandler instance with the specified protocol.

Parameters:

protocol - the protocol ("ftp", "http", "nntp", etc.).

Returns:

a URLStreamHandler for the specific protocol, or


         null

if this factory cannot create a handler for the specific protocol
