Nested Class Summary

Nested classes/interfaces declared in class Enum

Enum.EnumDesc<E>
Modifier and Type Class Description
static final class  Enum.EnumDesc<E extends Enum<E>>
A nominal descriptor for an enum constant.

Enum Constant Summary

Enum Constant Description
INSERT
The drop location should be tracked in terms of the position where new data should be inserted.
INSERT_COLS
The drop location should be tracked in terms of the column index where new columns should be inserted to accommodate the dropped data.
INSERT_ROWS
The drop location should be tracked in terms of the row index where new rows should be inserted to accommodate the dropped data.
ON
The drop location should be tracked in terms of the index of existing items.
ON_OR_INSERT
This mode is a combination of ON and INSERT, specifying that data can be dropped on existing items, or in insert locations as specified by INSERT.
ON_OR_INSERT_COLS
This mode is a combination of ON and INSERT_COLS, specifying that data can be dropped on existing items, or as insert columns as specified by INSERT_COLS.
ON_OR_INSERT_ROWS
This mode is a combination of ON and INSERT_ROWS, specifying that data can be dropped on existing items, or as insert rows as specified by INSERT_ROWS.
USE_SELECTION
A component's own internal selection mechanism (or caret for text components) should be used to track the drop location.

Method Summary

Modifier and Type Method Description
static DropMode valueOf(String name)
Returns the enum constant of this class with the specified name.
static DropMode[] values()
Returns an array containing the constants of this enum class, in the order they are declared.

Methods declared in class Enum

clone, compareTo, describeConstable, equals, finalize, getDeclaringClass, hashCode, name, ordinal, toString, valueOf
Modifier and Type Method Description
protected final Object clone()
Throws CloneNotSupportedException.
final int compareTo(DropMode o)
Compares this enum with the specified object for order.
final Optional<Enum.EnumDesc<DropMode>> describeConstable()
Returns an enum descriptor EnumDesc for this instance, if one can be constructed, or an empty Optional if one cannot be.

String toString()
Returns the name of this enum constant, as contained in the declaration.
static <T extends Enum<T>>
T
valueOf(Class<T> enumClass, String name)
Returns the enum constant of the specified enum class with the specified name.

Methods declared in class Object

getClass, notify, notifyAll, wait, wait, wait
Modifier and Type Method Description
final Class<?> getClass()
Returns the runtime class of this Object.
final void notify()
Wakes up a single thread that is waiting on this object's monitor.
final void notifyAll()
Wakes up all threads that are waiting on this object's monitor.
final void wait()
Causes the current thread to wait until it is awakened, typically by being notified or interrupted.
final void wait(long timeoutMillis)
Causes the current thread to wait until it is awakened, typically by being notified or interrupted, or until a certain amount of real time has elapsed.
final void wait(long timeoutMillis, int nanos)
Causes the current thread to wait until it is awakened, typically by being notified or interrupted, or until a certain amount of real time has elapsed.

Enum Constant Details

USE_SELECTION

public static final DropMode USE_SELECTION
A component's own internal selection mechanism (or caret for text components) should be used to track the drop location.

ON

public static final DropMode ON
The drop location should be tracked in terms of the index of existing items. Useful for dropping on items in tables, lists, and trees.

INSERT

public static final DropMode INSERT
The drop location should be tracked in terms of the position where new data should be inserted. For components that manage a list of items (list and tree for example), the drop location should indicate the index where new data should be inserted. For text components the location should represent a position between characters. For components that manage tabular data (table for example), the drop location should indicate where to insert new rows, columns, or both, to accommodate the dropped data.

INSERT_ROWS

public static final DropMode INSERT_ROWS
The drop location should be tracked in terms of the row index where new rows should be inserted to accommodate the dropped data. This is useful for components that manage tabular data.

INSERT_COLS

public static final DropMode INSERT_COLS
The drop location should be tracked in terms of the column index where new columns should be inserted to accommodate the dropped data. This is useful for components that manage tabular data.

ON_OR_INSERT

public static final DropMode ON_OR_INSERT
This mode is a combination of ON and INSERT, specifying that data can be dropped on existing items, or in insert locations as specified by INSERT.

ON_OR_INSERT_ROWS

public static final DropMode ON_OR_INSERT_ROWS
This mode is a combination of ON and INSERT_ROWS, specifying that data can be dropped on existing items, or as insert rows as specified by INSERT_ROWS.

ON_OR_INSERT_COLS

public static final DropMode ON_OR_INSERT_COLS
This mode is a combination of ON and INSERT_COLS, specifying that data can be dropped on existing items, or as insert columns as specified by INSERT_COLS.

Method Details

values

public static DropMode[] values()
Returns an array containing the constants of this enum class, in the order they are declared.
Returns:
an array containing the constants of this enum class, in the order they are declared

valueOf

public static DropMode valueOf(String name)
Returns the enum constant of this class with the specified name. The string must match exactly an identifier used to declare an enum constant in this class. (Extraneous whitespace characters are not permitted.)
Parameters:
name - the name of the enum constant to be returned.
Returns:
the enum constant with the specified name
Throws:
IllegalArgumentException - if this enum class has no constant with the specified name
NullPointerException - if the argument is null
